Insurance Restoration Process - Phase 2 - Planning
Within the estimate, there are budgets for materials. Each line item has values for the materials being used. Some materials that you will be selecting like kitchen cabinets, faucets, doors, etc. The Xactimate software gives the material cost for the items.
There are line items for flooring samples that have various levels of quality, and you will have a choice in which flooring style to install. We have a wide selection of flooring options to accommodate you.
Paint is another example that requires selection. You will have a choice of color and finish. Some examples of paint finishes include:
- High gloss finish
- Semi-gloss finish
- Flat finish
- Egg shell finish
NOTE: Please remember we cannot change colors dramatically and or guarantee that the paint will cover with one or two coats of paint.
Finalizing Your Selection
We need to make all of the selections up front so that we can order the materials and have them arrive when needed.
Some materials are special order and may take more time than you are willing to wait for. You may want to decide on another selection if necessary.
NOTE: Backorder or special order materials can delay construction and push back the completion date.
NOTE: Unless all selections are made, your project will not be put into production.
